Land Use Victoria sold for $2.86 billion

The Labor Victorian Government has sold its’ Land Titles Registry for close to three billion dollars, following similar sales in NSW and SA. The Subdivisions, Application & Survey, Valuer-General Victoria, Land Information and Spatial Services, Government Land Advice and Coordination and the Victorian Government Land Monitor areas are excluded from the sale and will stay in Government hands. The concession has been granted two months before a state election.
